Alicia Guerrero, AMFT

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist 137083

Schooling and Training: UCSB - BA in Psychology

Pepperdine - MA in Clinical Psychology

Trained at LGBTQ Center OC

Therapeutic Focus: Severe Anxiety, Chronic burnout, Chronic illness/pain, Couples therapy

Approach to Therapy: My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, considers the "whole-person" instead of only certain symptoms, and is based in the here-and-now (meaning we don't have to dive into all the details of your past unless you want to). It's my goal to honor your unique lived experience, which deserves to be affirmed, no matter how you may identify or who you love. To achieve this, my practice typically blends narrative therapy, existential therapy, mindfulness, and expressive arts therapy.

Fun Facts About Me: I love all things involving basset hounds, sea turtles, and coffee. I also have a deep appreciation for body modification- especially tattoos...I have many myself, including a half leg sleeve!

Fees: $160 for individuals and 190 for couples
